Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor from the United States. Her birth date was June 13th, 1962. Following her film debut in the 1983 film Bad Boys she became known for her role in the Brat Pack actors. She was also in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy's performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor. Ally Sheedy is an American actress and an author. She began her film career through the crime movie Bad Boys in the early 1980s. She received a lot of praise. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie that also featured a number of prominent actor Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. In 1985, following her successful debut in a film she starred in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. John Hughes' film is considered to be one of the top high school film ever made. Although the budget for this movie was $1 million it has made more than $50 million. Meanwhile she had also started appearing in various TV shows such as CBS Schoolbreak which was her TV debut. It was a show for teenagers and began airing in April of 1980. Other TV shows she appeared in include Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. A few of her most recent appearances include Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse a film about a superhero in which she plays a cameo. Sheedy, for her incredible performances won many awards. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Awards' Silver Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
